About Rise

We buy the video, not the audience.

Rise Advertising runs creator programs for consumer apps. We teach people the UGC format, commission the videos, and pay for them on a fixed schedule — which is a plainer arrangement than most of what gets called creator marketing.

What we actually do

Consumer apps need a constant supply of short vertical video to advertise with. The videos that work are not polished commercials — they are ordinary people talking to a camera about something they would genuinely use. That format is learnable, and most people who are good at it had never made an ad before they started.

So we do two things. We run the programs on behalf of the apps in our portfolio: the briefs, the rates, the agreements, the payments and the reporting. And we train the creators making the work, because the supply of people who can already do this well is much smaller than the demand for it.

The result for a creator is narrow on purpose. You are not building a personal brand with us and you are not being asked to post to your own following. You get a brief, you shoot a video on your phone, you send it in, and you get paid the amount that was agreed.

Four things we commit to

01

The rate is agreed before you shoot

You know the number before you pick up a phone. Not a range, not an estimate that moves once we see the footage — the figure that will be on your statement.

02

Money only moves one way

You are never charged to apply, to train, or to work with us. No fee, no kit to buy, no course, no deposit. If anyone asking you to pay says they are Rise, they are not.

03

Performance sits on top, never underneath

You are paid for the work whether or not a video pops. Bonuses exist and they are worth having, but they are never the whole deal, and we do not do revenue share.

04

Paid on a schedule you can plan around

Your statement closes at month end and payment goes out within seven days of it. We collect a W-9 up front and file your 1099 at year end, so nothing lands on you in January.

Whether it suits you

We would rather you worked this out now than three weeks in.

This works if

  • You are comfortable talking to a camera, even badly at first.
  • You can shoot on the phone you already own.
  • You want the work to be the product, not your follower count.
  • You would rather be told what a video pays before you make it.

This does not work if

  • You are looking for brand deals posted to your own audience.
  • You want to be paid a share of what the ad earns.
  • You need the finished videos for your own portfolio or reuse.
  • You are not willing to sign an agreement before filming.

Working with us as an app

If you run a consumer app and you need a reliable supply of UGC rather than a one-off shoot, that is the other half of what we do — sourcing and training the creators, running the briefs, and handling the agreements and payouts so you receive finished, cleared video. Get in touch and tell us what you are advertising.

Ready to try it?

One form, about three minutes, and any video of you talking to camera. It does not have to be polished and it does not have to be an ad.
