1. Who we are
This site is operated by Rise Advertising LLC (“Rise”, “we”, “us”). Written notice can be sent to Rise Advertising LLC, San Diego, CA 92127, USA, or by email to hello@riseadvertising.co.
2. Accepting these terms
By using this site or submitting an application you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. If you are using the site on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
3. Who can apply
You must be at least 18 years old and legally entitled to work as an independent contractor in your country of residence. You must be able to receive payment through the methods we support and, where we are required to collect it, to provide valid tax documentation.
4. What an application is and is not
Submitting an application is not a job application, an offer of work, or a contract. It is a request to be considered for our creator programs. We review applications periodically and we may accept or decline any application for any lawful reason, or for no reason. We are not obliged to explain a decision.
Being accepted into a program does not guarantee any particular volume of work, any minimum earnings, or continued participation.
5. Paid work is governed by a separate agreement
If we offer you paid work, you will be sent an individual creator agreement to review and sign before you film anything. That agreement sets out your rate, any trial period, any bonuses, the deliverables, the licence you grant in the finished videos, and the payment terms.
Nothing on this website varies that agreement. Where anything here conflicts with it, the signed agreement controls.
6. We never charge creators
You are not charged to apply, to be trained, or to work with us. We will never ask you for a fee, a deposit, equipment money, or payment for training or placement. Anyone who does so is not acting for Rise, and we would be grateful if you reported it to hello@riseadvertising.co.
7. What you submit to us
You must have the right to send us everything you send us. In particular, any video you submit with an application must be of you, filmed by you or with the filmer’s permission, and must not contain music, footage, trademarks or other material you do not have the right to share.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce and review it for the purpose of assessing your application and administering our creator programs. This licence does not permit us to advertise with your application video — rights to commissioned work are granted separately and explicitly in the creator agreement you sign.
You confirm that everything you tell us in an application is accurate, including your identity, your age, and any social accounts you list as yours.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading or impersonated information;
- submit anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or infringing of anyone’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, RiseHQ, or any account that is not yours;
- scrape, probe, overload or interfere with the operation of the site; or
- use the site to advertise, recruit, or solicit our creators or clients.
9. Our content
The site, its design, text, graphics and the Rise name and marks belong to us or our licensors. You may read and share the pages; you may not copy, adapt or reuse the design or content commercially without our written permission.
10. Third-party links and platforms
The site links to RiseHQ at hq.riseadvertising.co and may reference third-party platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or their terms — which you remain responsible for following.
11. Availability
We provide the site “as is”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. We may also change these terms; the date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties in relation to this site, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice, and any figures shown in illustrations or examples are illustrative only and are not a prediction of what you will earn.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost opportunities or lost data, arising out of your use of this site. Our total liability arising out of or relating to this site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
This clause is about the website. Liability under a signed creator agreement is governed by that agreement.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or from material you submit that infringes someone else’s rights.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
16. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stay in force. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to an affiliate or in connection with a sale of the business.
